This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 18.5 kDa. The protein migrates as 25-30 kDa under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

胸腺基质淋巴细胞生成素（TSLP）是一种上皮细胞源性细胞因子，广泛表达于上皮细胞，并参与炎症性皮肤疾病的病理过程。人类TSLP的cDNA编码一个由159个氨基酸残基组成的前体蛋白，其N端包含28个氨基酸的信号肽序列。研究表明，人TSLP具有以下功能：促进非缺失性中枢免疫耐受的形成、增强上皮诱导的抗体类别转换、诱发特应性疾病以及维持肠道非炎症环境。在响应人TSLP的多种细胞中，CD11c+树突状细胞是其表征最明确的主要靶细胞。
