This protein carries a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™).
The protein has a calculated MW of 42.2 kDa. The protein migrates as 52 kDa±3 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.

T细胞表面糖蛋白CD5(亦称淋巴细胞抗原T1/Leu-1及LEU1)的酪氨酸残基可被LYN激酶磷酸化,从而为PTPN6/SHP-1形成结合位点。CD5可能作为受体参与调节T细胞增殖,在人类B细胞的不同发育阶段和活化状态中均有表达。
作为T细胞受体(TCR)与B细胞受体(BCR)信号通路的明确负向调控因子,CD5阳性细胞还能通过分泌IL-10等细胞因子来阻止自身免疫现象的产生。不同B细胞与T细胞亚群的发育、筛选及功能调控,或其优势存活状态,可能直接或间接依赖于CD5或类CD5分子所关联的特定聚糖结构。
