蛋白结构（Molecular Characterization）
Mouse IL-23A&IL-12B Heterodimer Protein, His Tag&Tag Free, produced by co-expression of IL-23A and IL-12B, has a calculated MW of 20.5 kDa (IL-23A) and 35.8 kDa (IL-12B). Subunit IL-23A is fused with a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus and subunit IL-12B contains no tag. The protein migrates as 20 kDa (IL23A) & 45 kDa (IL12B) when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
The protein is designed as a heterodimer.

白介素-23亚基α（IL-23α）可与IL12B结合形成白介素IL-23。这种异二聚体细胞因子在先天免疫与适应性免疫中发挥作用。IL-23可能与IL-17共同构成外周组织对感染的急性应答机制。IL-23通过结合由IL12RB1和IL23R组成的异二聚体受体复合物，激活Jak-Stat信号传导级联反应，优先刺激记忆性T细胞而非初始T细胞，并促进促炎细胞因子产生。该细胞因子可诱导自身免疫性炎症，因此可能与自身免疫性炎症疾病的发生有关，并在肿瘤发生过程中发挥重要作用。
