白细胞介素6受体（IL6R）又称CD126（分化簇126），是一种强效多效性细胞因子，可调节多种组织的细胞生长与分化，尤其以其在免疫应答和急性期反应中的作用而闻名。IL6R是由白细胞介素6受体亚基（IL6R）与白细胞介素6信号转导糖蛋白130组成的蛋白质复合体。IL6R同样指编码该亚基的人类基因。研究已报道存在编码不同亚型的可变剪接转录本。IL6R亚基亦为多种其他细胞因子所共用。其可溶性形式源自膜结合型IL6Rα的蛋白水解切割，通过使IL6配体能够接触信号转导蛋白gp130而发挥激动作用。IL6与IL6R的生成失调参与多种炎症性疾病及恶性肿瘤（如多发性骨髓瘤、类风湿关节炎、骨质疏松症）的发病机制。据报道，人源化抗IL6R单克隆抗体是适用于IL6驱动性疾病治疗策略的一种前景广阔的制剂。白细胞介素6受体已被证实可与白细胞介素6及睫状神经营养因子发生相互作用。
