EB1002 is a selective NK2R agonist peptide. EB1002 significantly increased the expression levels of mitochondrial biosynthesis related genes (such as PGC-1 α) in obese mice, indicating that it promotes energy expenditure by enhancing mitochondrial activity. EB1002 also increased insulin sensitivity and improved glucose and lipid metabolism in mice. EB1002 is expected to be used in the research of obesity and type 2 diabetes.
