Jingzhaotoxin-V is a peptide that inhibits potassium current in Xenopus laevis oocytes. The sequence contains 33 amino acids and three pairs of disulfide bonds, with an IC50 value of 604.2 nM. Jingzhaotoxin-V can also inhibit tetrodotoxin resistance and tetrodotoxin sensitive sodium current in rat dorsal root ganglion neurons, with IC50 values of 27.6 and 30.2 nM, respectively.
