Description：Gramicidin A是由短芽孢杆菌产生的一种抗生素，为线状十五肽，N端甲酰化封闭氨基，C端是醛基。Gramicidin A能够杀死某些微生物．两个短杆菌肽A分子从膜两侧相对插入可形成穿膜通道，提高生物膜对某些一价阳离子的通透性，使这些物质顺浓度梯度通过细胞膜，不过Gramicidin A并不显著提高运输速度。研究显示Gramicidin A能抑制T7噬菌体DNA的转录，抑制膜结合的表皮腺苷酸三磷酸酶活性和体外阻抑人淋巴细胞转化。在大鼠动物模型中能延长心脏移植存活率。
Gramicidin A is an antibiotic produced by Bacillus brevis, which is a linear pentadecapeptide with an N-terminal formylated blocked amino group and a C-terminal aldehyde group. Gramicidin A can kill certain microorganisms. Two molecules of gramicidin A insert from opposite sides of the membrane to form a transmembrane channel, enhancing the permeability of biological membranes to certain monovalent cations and allowing these substances to pass through the cell membrane along the concentration gradient. However, gramicidin A does not significantly increase transport speed. Studies have shown that gramicidin A inhibits the transcription of T7 phage DNA, suppresses membrane-bound epidermal adenosine triphosphatase activity, and blocks the transformation of human lymphocytes in vitro. In rat animal models, it can prolong the survival rate of heart transplants.
