Cusatuzumab (also known as ARGX-110) is an investigational humanized monoclonal antibody developed as a targeted therapy for hematologic malignancies, particularly acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). It is designed to eliminate leukemia stem cells and immature malignant blasts that express a specific surface antigen, aiming to address a root cause of disease persistence and relapse. Clinical trials have evaluated its use, often in combination with hypomethylating agents like azacitidine, for the treatment of patients with newly diagnosed or relapsed/refractory AML who are unfit for intensive chemotherapy.
