Indusatumab (also known as the 5F9 monoclonal antibody) is an investigational monoclonal antibody specifically targeting human guanylate cyclase 2C (GUCY2C). It is being developed as a targeted therapeutic agent, with the potential for use in two primary modalities. First, as a naked antibody, it may inhibit GUCY2C signaling or mark GUCY2C-expressing cells for immune-mediated destruction. Second, and notably, it can be used to synthesize antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs).
