Ac-RYYRWK-NH2 consists of six amino acids, with both the N-terminus and C-terminus of the peptide being blocked. It is a highly selective agonist peptide capable of increasing food intake in vivo.Ac-RYYRWK-NH2 is a potent and selective nociceptin receptor (NOP) partial agonist. It binds to mouse cortical membranes with a Kd of 0.071 nM but exhibits no affinity for μ-, κ-, or δ-opioid receptors.
