CysHHC10 is a synthetic antimicrobial peptide composed of a straight-chain polypeptide of 10 amino acids, with a sequence rich in indole groups, exhibiting potent antibacterial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. The MIC values of CysHHC10 against Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Staphylococcus epidermidis are 10.1 mM, 20.2 mM, 2.5 mM, and 1.3 mM, respectively.
