Serclutamab is a chimeric human-mouse IgG1 kappa monoclonal antibody targeting the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It binds to EGFR on the surface of tumor cells to block ligand-induced activation, inhibiting downstream signaling pathways that drive cancer cell proliferation, survival, and metastasis. It is being developed for the treatment of EGFR-overexpressing solid tumors, such as colorectal, head and neck, and non-small cell lung cancers.
