GPR110 peptide agonist P12 is a polypeptide serving as a GPR110 agonist, composed of 12 amino acids. It significantly enhances the initial rate of GTPγS binding to G proteins stimulated by GPR110. By mimicking the action of natural ligands, GPR110 peptide agonist P12 induces dissociation of the extracellular domain (ECD) from the seven transmembrane domain (7TM) of GPR110, exposing the β-strand-13/stalk region at the N-terminus of the 7TM domain, which activates G protein signaling as an agonist. GPR110 peptide agonist P12 can be utilized in research related to developmental disorders and cancers associated with GPR110.
