(Ethylenedioxy)Dimethanol (EDDM) is a multifunctional, low-toxicity, and high-efficiency chemical agent. It serves as both a slow-release bactericide and a gas desulfurizer, ideal for humid environments and industrial systems.

Microbial Control: Effectively inhibits the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, preventing system corrosion, corruption, and unpleasant odors.
Hydrogen Sulfide Removal: Highly effective in removing H₂S from crude oil and natural gas with excellent selectivity.

Broad Compatibility: Excellent for water-based systems, including synthetic, semi-synthetic, and emulsified metalworking fluids.
Wide pH Range: Effective bactericidal action within a pH range of 6-11.
