화학적 성질

Ferrovanadium, a noncombustible solid; the dust may be an explosion hazard. It consists of dark, odorless solid particles (particulate): dispersed in air. An alloy having the composition of 50% 80% vanadium with iron, carbon, and trace silicon, manganese, chro mium, nickel, etc.

용도

Added to steel to produce fineness of grain, toughness, and resistance to high temperature and torsion

정의

Incompatible with oxidizers (chlorates, nitrates, peroxides, permanganates, perchlorates, chlorine, bromine, fluorine, etc.); contact may cause fires or explo sions. Keep away from alkaline materials, strong bases, strong acids, oxoacids, epoxides.
