Natürliche Produkte

Natürliche Produkte bezeichnen die organischen Verbindungen, die von Pflanzen oder Tieren extrahiert werden. Beispielsweise ist Stärke ein natürliches Produkt, welches in Wurzeln verschiedener Pflanzen vorkommt. Viele natürliche Medikamente, z. B. Ephedrin, können von Pflanzen oder Tieren extrahiert werden. Des Weiteren sind viele Farbstoffe und Aromastoffe ebenfalls natürliche Produkte, welche aus Tieren oder Pflanzen gewonnen werden können.
