| Description | Strontium Iodate can be prepared by the reaction
of iodic acid upon the carbonate:
SrCO3＋2HIO3→Sr(IO3)2＋CO2＋H2O

The solubility of this salt in water is 0.19 g/100 ml at 20°C and 0.35 g/100 ml at 100°C. The magnetic susceptibility of the salt is 108 g/10-6 cm3/mol. |
