| Description | Ammonium chlorate is an ammonium compound with a molecular formula of NH4ClO3. It is a colorless or white crystal that is soluble in water. Ammonium chlorate is a strong oxidizer and, when contaminated with combustible materials, can spontaneously ignite. It is shock sensitive and can detonate when exposed to heat or vibration.
