Uses of Ceftriaxone sodium

Ceftriaxone sodium is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic with high activity against many Gram-negative bacteria and some activity against most Gram-positive bacteria. It has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections.

Side effects

Common side effects include: Hardness after intramuscular injection (5-17%), swelling, redness, or pain may occur at the injection site.
