Weigh out 2 mmol Sb, 3 mmol Se, and 10 mmol CsCl flux, mix them to obtain a precursor, and grind the precursor thoroughly to ensure homogeneity. Place the mixed sample into a quartz bottle and evacuate it to 10–102 Pa using a vacuum pump (or use an inert gas) to eliminate the influence of air on the molten salt reaction. Seal the quartz bottle with an oxyhydrogen flame. Place the sealed quartz bottle containing the mixed sample in a conventional heating furnace and heat it from room temperature to 700°C and maintain the temperature for 72 hours. Then, cool it to 450°C, remove the quartz bottle, and rapidly cool it to room temperature (by immersing it in water). Finally, remove the sample from the quartz bottle, ultrasonically wash it several times to remove the CsCl flux, and then dry it in a drying oven at 80°C for 2 hours to obtain micron-sized Sb₂Se₃ single crystal particles with a crystalline luster, approximately 55 micrometers in size.
