SR 2640 Hydrochloride is a useful intermediate. It is a potent, selective LTD4 /LTE4 receptor antagonist.
[in vivo]

SR2640 inhibits the LTD 4-induced contractions of guinea-pig ileum in a concentration-dependent manner, with an IC50 of 3 nM[1]. SR2640 (1 mg/kg; IV; single dosage) specifically prevents the contractile responses of guinea-pig ileum and trachea to LTD4 and LTE4[1].
