DACN(Tos) hydrochloride is a click chemistry reagent containing a cycloalkyne group. The alkyne moiety within the ring has a unique bent structure and high reactivity toward cycloaddition reactions, such strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloadditions (SPAAC) by using cycloalkynes.
