以1,2-双(4-(叔丁基)-2,6-二甲基苯基)二硫醚为原料合成4-叔丁基-2,6-二甲基苯基三氟化硫(Fluolead)的一般步骤如下:在火焰干燥的500mL圆底烧瓶中,配备滴液漏斗,加入无水乙腈(120mL)并在氮气保护下操作。在搅拌条件下,依次加入喷雾干燥的氟化钾(29.1g,500mmol)和二(2,6-二甲基-4-叔丁基苯基)二硫化物(19.4g,50mmol)。随后,通过冰浴将反应混合物冷却至0℃,并缓慢滴加溴(26mL,500mmol)。滴加完毕后,将反应混合物在0℃下继续搅拌2小时。反应完成后,于室温下减压除去溶剂及过量溴。最后,通过减压蒸馏纯化产物,得到17.5g浅白色固体,收率为70%。产物经19FNMR(d-CH3CN)表征:δ50.9(t,J=62.7Hz,2F),-58.4(d,J=62.7Hz,1F)。
