Acid Red 87 Chemische Eigenschaften,Einsatz,Produktion Methoden
Synthese
16.5 g gepulvertes Fluorescein werden zusammen mit 80 ml 95%-igem Ethanol (Verwendung von denaturiertem Ethanol möglich) in einen 250-ml-Kolben gegeben. Ein kleiner Tropftrichter, der 36 g (12 ml) Brom enthält, wird über dem Kolben angebracht. Vor dem Befüllen muss sichergestellt werden, dass der Hahn des Tropftrichters gut geschmiert ist. Das Brom wird dann tropfenweise innerhalb von etwa 20 min zugegeben. Wenn der Vorgang zur Hälfte abgeschlossen ist und das Fluorescein in Dibromfluorescein umgewandelt wurde, verschwinden die festen Bestandteile für kurze Zeit, weil das Dibrom-Derivat in Ethanol löslich ist. Durch weiteres Zuträufeln von Brom entsteht Tetrabromfluorescein, das in Ethanol nur wenig löslich ist und daher ausfällt. Nach zweistündigem Stehen wird das Eosin Y abgesaugt, mit Ethanol gewaschen und bei 100 °C getrocknet. Die Ausbeute an Eosin Y, einem orangegefärbten Pulver, beträgt 25 g.
