Beschreibung

A simple isoquinoline base, thalifoline occurs in Thalictrum minus and is obtained in the form of colourless rods when recrystallized from MeOH. The ultraviolet spectrum in EtOH has absorption maxima at 223.5, 261 and 302 nm. The structure given has been confirmed by synthesis.
