Description
[Orn8]-Urotensin II is a peptide analog of urotensin II (Item No. 24711) and agonist of the urotensin II receptor (UTR; EC50s = 11.74 and 8.7 nM in HEK293 cells expressing the human and rat receptor, respectively).1 It reduces urotensin II-induced contraction of isolated rat aorta (pA2 = 6.56) but has no effect on aortic contraction when used alone at concentrations up to 10 μM.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use.
