Chemical Properties
Soluble in water. Slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. Its aqueous solution is yellow, adding sodium hydroxide color does not change; turbid when cold. Yellow in concentrated sulfuric acid, fluorescent yellow precipitate after dilution.
Uses
Acid Yellow 25 is a stain/dye. Dyes and metabolites.
Preparation
5-Amino-2-methyl-N-phenylbenzenesulfonamidediazo, and 4-(3-Methyl-5-oxo-4,5-dihydropyrazol-1-yl)benzenesulfonic acid coupling.

yellow. Yellow powder. Soluble in water yellow, encounter cold becomes muddy. Slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. Meet strong sulfuric acid is yellow, the generation after diluted fluorescent yellow precipitation. Its water solution meet sodium hydroxide solution without change. Mainly used for wool and polyamide fiber of printing and dyeing, also can be used for leather and electrochemical aluminum shading, occasionally used for paper coating.
