Chemical Properties
The seeds of Trigoella foenumgaccum, an annual herb of the leguminous family, yellow-brown, smooth surface, slightly oval or square, about 3-5mm long, with a deep groove on the seeds. Has a good caramel flavor, slightly bitter, like maple sugar.
Uses
FEMA 2484 can be used as spices and nutritional supplements. In addition, because it contains diosgenin, it can be used to make contraceptives.
