Deuteroporphyrin IX (dihydrochloride) is a photosensitizer with high lipophilicity and amphiphilicity, capable of providing photosensitivity for cell membrane systems. Deuteroporphyrin IX (dihydrochloride) can induce irreversible discharge elimination in individual neurons[1].
