Chemical Properties
Sodium ethylxanthogenate is a white or slightly yellow mercerized needle-like crystals, pungent odor, easily soluble in water and ethanol.
Uses
Methylidynetri-p-phenylene triisocyanate is an organic ester, mainly used for the bonding of rubber and metal and other materials, and is also widely used as a curing agent for neoprene adhesives in the shoe industry.

Synthesis
In a 100 mL three-necked flask, add 1g of bis (trichloromethyl) carbonate, 10 mL of chlorobenzene completely dissolved in an ice bath under the conditions of dropwise addition of 2g of tris (4-aminophenyl) methane and 10mL of chlorobenzene mixture. 1h dropwise addition is completed. 1h dropwise addition is completed, ice bath reaction for 1 h, warming 70 reaction for 2 h. During the hydrogen chloride gas is released, absorbed with NaOH solution. Continue to temperature reflux to no acidic gas release, this time the solution is blue-purple clarified liquid. Change to rotary evaporator at 75 under the condition of chlorobenzene evaporation is obtained triphenylmethane triisocyanate .
