Nordihydrocapsaicin is a capsaicinoid and analog and congener of capsaicin in chili peppers.

ChEBI: Nordihydrocapsaicin is a member of methoxybenzenes and a member of phenols.
in vivo
Nordihydrocapsaicin (0.1-0.2% CAPs (10 mg/kg BW), p.o., daily for 8 weeks) prevents low-fat-high carbohydrate diet and high-fat diet-induced obesity by regulating the NADPH oxidase and Nrf2 pathways in rats[4].
