Application
3-Bromoepoxybutane can be used as a pharmaceutical synthesis intermediate, such as in the preparation of polymonothiocarbonate. Polymonothiocarbonate is a sulfur-containing polymer with excellent optical properties, chemical stability, and good heavy metal ion adsorption capacity. It has broad application prospects in the manufacture of high-performance optical fibers, adhesives, and the treatment of wastewater containing heavy metal ions.
