Acid Yellow 61 Chemical Properties,Uses,Production

Chemical Properties

Yellow powder. Easily soluble in water, the solubility in water (90℃) is 35g/L. The aqueous solution is greenish yellow, adding hydrochloric acid turns to tender yellow, adding sodium hydroxide also turns to tender yellow, slightly turbid. In concentrated sulfuric acid, it is dark yellow, the color is unchanged after dilution, accompanied by precipitation. Sensitive to copper and iron ions when dyeing.

Uses

Acid yellow 61 is an acidic yellow dye that can be adsorbed and removed by bentone clay.

Preparation

This product used for wool, silk, polyamide fiber and its blended fabric dyeing, also can be used for wool and silk fabric printing, direct discharge printing. Can also be used in leather color.
