Uses

Ademetionine Disulfate Tosylate is the disulfate-tosylate mixed salt of a mixture of diastereoisomers of the ademetionine ions. Ademetionine possesses anti-inflammatory activity and has been used in treatment of chronic liver disease.

Ademetionine Disulfate Tosylate is used to study the survival time in various damage brain models.

Application

S-Adenosyl-L-methionine Disulfate Tosylate (SAMe-ST) is the tosylate disulphate form of S-adenosyl-L-methionine (SAM).  SAM may serve as an adjunctive therapy for refractory major depressive disorder.  SAMe-ST is a multifunctional biochemical agent exhibiting antidepressant, anticancer and hepatoprotective properties.  It may be administered as a dietary supplement for the management of depressive disorders and hepatic conditions.
