Uses
Matrixyl is palmitoyl pentapeptide-4 (Pal-KTTKS), a synthetic signal peptide associated with extracellular-matrix modulation that stimulates collagen synthesis and improves skin elasticity[1]. Matrixyl Peptide may be embedded in biomaterials or scaffolds to support fibroblast activity and extracellular-matrix remodeling.
Preparation
Matrixyl can be prepared by Fmoc-based solid-phase peptide synthesis[2].
