Description
Tos-PEG4-methyl ester is a PEG linker with tosyl and methyl ester moieties. The tosyl group is a very good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution reactions. The hydrophilic PEG linker increases the water solubility of the compound. Methyl ester can be hydrolyzed under strong basic condition.
Uses
Tos-PEG3-C2-methyl ester is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1].
