Chlorflurenol-methyl Chemical Properties, Uses, Production
Description
Chlorfluenol-methyl is an obsolete herbicide and plant growth regulator. It has a low aqueous solubility and is non-volatile. It is not expected to be persistent in the environment. Whilst limited, data that is available suggests a low to moderate toxicity to biodiversity. Chlorflurenol-methyl has a low mammalian oral toxicity.
Chemical Properties
Plasticin Plasticin is insoluble in water, soluble in ethanol and so on. It is sensitive to UV photolysis, especially its free acid and amide salts, and is unstable to heat. Non-toxic, the final decomposition product is carbon dioxide, no pollution to the environment, not a long-lasting inhibitor.
Uses
Chlorflurenol-methyl is an auxin polar transport inhibitor that effects elongation growth of the excised fourth internode of tulips. Chlorflurenol-methyl is a pesticide.
