N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG3-acid Chemical Properties, Uses, Production
Description
N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG3-acid enable Click Chemistry with alkyne such as Propargyl, BCN or DBCO reagent. Boc group can be deprotected under acidic conditions. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amino groups in the presence of EDCor HATU.
Uses
N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG3-acid is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-Boc-PEG3-acid is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups.
