(±)-Methamphetamine-d5 (hydrochloride) (CRM) is a certified reference material intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of (±)-Methamphetamine is categorized as an amphetamine that consists of dextrorotary and levorotary enantiomers.1,2 (+)-Methamphetamine is the more physiologically active isomer compared with (–)-methamphetamine . Methamphetamine is both neurotoxic and frequently abused.3 Methamphetamine is regulated as a Schedule II compound in the United States. (±)-Methamphetamine-d5 (hydrochloride) (CRM) is provided as a DEA exempt preparation. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
