Description

Tris(4,4,4-trifluoro-1-(2-thienyl)-1,3-butanediono)europium(III) is used in the conversion of absorbed thermal radiation into visible data. It is also used as a highly luminescent laser dye. Further, it is employed as a fluorescent thermal transfer from a video screen. In addition to this, it is used in two-color temperature sensitive paint system in the Boeing/AFOSR Mach-6 Quiet Tunnel (BAM6QT) in order to reduce the noise.
