Description

(R,R)-(-)-1,2-Ethanediylbis[(2-methoxyphenyl)phenylphosphine]rhodium(I) Tetrafluoroborate is used as a catalyst in the synthesis of Sinefungin (S487100); a natural nucleoside analog of S-adenosylmethionine that inhibits Streptococcus pneumoniae biofilm growth. Its derivatives can be used as inhibitors and structure probes for human protein lysine methyltransferase SETD2.
