| Uses | FLT3LG (Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand) is a transmembrane glycoprotein and a ligand for FLT3 receptor. It is widely expressed in human tissues. The protein exists in membrane bound as well as secreted forms. Binding of FLT3LG to FLT3 results in receptor dimerization, activation of the tyrosine kinase domain, autophosphorylation and thereby activation of the receptor. Recombinant human Flt3-Ligand is a soluble 17.6kDa protein consisting of 155 amino acid residues. | | Biological Activity | FLT3LG (Fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand) is a hematopoietic growth factor. It plays a significant role in the development of myeloid and plasmacytoid dendritic cells.
