| Description | 2,3-dinor-11β-PGF2α-d9 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of 2,3-dinor-11β-PGF2α (Item No. 16530) by GC- or LC-MS. 2,3-dinor-11β-PGF2α is a metabolite of PGD2 (Item No. 12010).1,2 Urinary excretion of 2,3-dinor-11β-PGF2α is increased in patients with mast cell activation disease (MCAD) and has been used as a marker of increased PGD2 levels.3 2,3-dinor-11β-PGF2α levels are also increased in the urine of patients with asthma and are positively correlated with impaired lung function.4WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | | References | [1] T E LISTON L J R.
