It has bactericidal activity against Gram-positive bacteria, with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of ≤0.2 μg/ml, and insecticidal activity. | | Uses | Indanomycin is an unusual pyrollic ionophore active against Gram positive bacteria and insects. Interestingly, indanomycin has antihypertensive properties.
