| Aroma | 2-(2,6-dimethylhepta-1,5-dienyl)-4-methyl-1,3-dioxolane has very pleasant, sweet-citrus lemon-orangelike odor, mild, oily and somewhat green.

aqueous media (the decomposition changes
the flavor to lemon).
