General method: A mixture of ionic liquids (1-6) (0.1 g), morpholine (0.55 mmol) and 1-chlorobutane (0.5 mmol) was heated and reacted at 90°C for 3 hours under the protection of inert atmosphere. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was diluted with aqueous NaHCO3 and extracted with ether (Et2O). The organic layers were combined and dried with anhydrous magnesium sulfate (MgSO4). Subsequently, the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure to give the crude product. The crude product was characterized and analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy.
