1. An ammonium perchlorate solution reacts with milk of lime [Ca(OH)] at 75-80C, yielding calcium perchlorate and ammonia gas.
2. After reaction, insolubles are filtered off. The filtrate is a calcium perchlorate solution for subsequent use. |
