SynthesisIn a 100ml four-necked flask equipped with reflux condenser tube (gas absorption device at the top), dropping funnel, stirrer, add 20ml of water, slowly add 24ml of concentrated sulfuric acid, cool down and then add 2-(2-hydroxyethyl)-1,3-dioxane, mix well and then add 20g of finely ground sodium bromide, heated to reflux for 1h. Recrystallization was carried out with a mixed solvent of ethyl acetate and ether to obtain the target compound 2-(1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)ethyltriphenylphosphonium bromide.
