DescriptionNorfentanyl-d5 (hydrochloride) (Item No. 15832) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of norfentanyl by GC- or LC-mass spectrometry. Norfentanyl is a thermal degradant and major urinary metabolite of the opioid analgesic, fentanyl (Item Nos. ISO60197 | 14719). This product is intended for forensic and research applications.
General DescriptionAn internal standard suitable for norfentanyl testing of urine, blood, or hair samples or isotope dilution methods by GC/MS or LC/MS in applications such as pain prescription monitoring, clinical toxicology, urine drug testing, or forensic analysis. Norfentanyl is a major urinary metabolite of fentanyl, a potent synthetic analgesic sold under various trade names including Sublimaze, Duragesic, Actiq, and Fentora.
