| Description | Dabcyl-GABA-PQGL-Glu(EDANS)-AK-NH2 is a fluorogenic substrate for matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MMP-1), MMP-2, MMP-3, and MMP-9.1 Upon enzymatic cleavage by MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-3, or MMP-9 at the Gly-Leu site, EDANS is separated from the Dabcyl quencher and its fluorescence can be used to quantify MMP-1, MMP-2, MMP-3, and MMP-9 activity.1,2 EDANS displays excitation/emission maxima of 340/485 nm, respectively.WARNING This product is not for human or veterinary use. | | References | [1] BOB BEEKMAN .
